Friendly Reception
Our receptionists will help make your visit calm and relaxed and explain any queries you may have before you are taken through to the treatment rooms. Before your first visit, you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire relating to your general health. The receptionist can assist with this if necessary.
Your future visits will be arranged and you will have the opportunity to take a hot drink away with you, in our Cupar Dental & Implant Centre paper cups with lids.
State Of The Art Surgeries
The dental nurse will come to reception and take you into the surgery. There you will find comfortable, state-of-the-art dental equipment as well as an entertainment system to help keep you feeling relaxed.
Smaller x-rays inside the mouth are taken using our handheld portable x-ray machine. We offer panoramic x-rays in house in our dedicated x-ray room and have a Cone Beam CT scanner for assessing bone volume prior to dental treatment plus other uses. These are invaluable in planning larger treatment cases.
Thorough Consultations
Your care generally begins with a full examination and x-rays. Photographs may also be taken to help in planning your treatment. Your dentist will show you your x-rays and explain the findings in detail, involving you in your care at all times. All treatment options will be explained, often using models, video demonstrations and photos.
You will be given a printed treatment plan with full cost estimate and discussion about payment options. We offer finance to assist you in achieving your perfect smile. You will be able to decide how much or little treatment is done at each visit. Some people prefer to acclimatise slowly and take their time while others prefer fewer visits.
Expert Treatment
You will find our dentists gentle and very sensitive to your needs. You will be in control of your treatment at all times and always have the opportunity to take a break.
Numbing cream is routinely used prior to local anaesthetic for practically pain free treatment and there is always a hand to hold should the need arise!
